How to: Bantu Knot Out on Kinky Straight Hair

bantu knot out on kinky straight hair textures This blog is about creating hassle free waves and or preserving a previous curly style. So I wand curled my hair by taking way wand curler and wrapping medium sections of hair around it.

What I decided to do afterward was a bad idea because my style didn’t last. I went motorcycle riding (should have declined the offer LOL).

When I got home it was remnants of waves and I honestly didn’t want to go through having to wand it all over again. I thought of flexi rodding but that was too much work as well; so I decided to make medium to large sized Bantu knots. I took my desired amount of hair and twirled it. I then wrapped it around to create a ball and secured it with a rubber band.last but not least, I applied my Her Given Hair headband/sleep tube and went to sleep.

Next morning after I removed my cap,  I removed the rubber bands and began to unravel the knots.

Once done, I separated the curls gently and where the natural split was to prevent too much frizz. I Finger combed and then voila! Nice, soft, bouncy hair!

I did not use any products. This was done on completely dry hair. :)

  1. This is a really nice, soft, bouncy hair! I should try it this evening but unfortunately I can’t make such Bantu knots as I have a thin hair. What can you recommend Arlene? Thanks.
